How does whitelist work

How do I turn whitelist on?

Do you want only the people you choose to join your server? Whitelist is the solution! Read here how to turn on whitelist.

1. Go to our control panel.
2. Tap the server you want to whitelist.
3. Press "Advanced".
4. Press "Server Properties".
5. Scroll down until you find "Whitelist".
6. Press "Disabled".
7. Then press "Enabled".
8. 
   Now you have turned on the whitelist - only people with OP and people you specifically have the whitelist can join.

How do I whitelist a player?

Once you have turned on the whitelist, no one can join your server - unless they have OP. You need to whitelist them before they can join your server. You can do this in the following way.

1. Go to our control panel.
2. Tap the server you want to whitelist a player on.
3. In the big black box, type /whitelist add name.

   Note! That "name" must be changed to the name you want to whitelist!

   
   Now the selected person is whitelisted to your server and can now join it!

How do I remove a player's whitelist?

If you no longer want someone on your server, remember to remove the person from the whitelist.

1. Go to our control panel.
2. Tap the server you want to whitelist a player on.
3. In the big black box, type /whitelist remove name.

   Note! That "name" must be changed to the name you want to remove from the whitelist!

   
   Now the person is removed from whitelist and thus can not join again.
   

   Note! You are required to kick the player from the server if the player is on the server while removing the player from the whitelist.
